Inspired by my memories of driving back at night from Lahaina, on the island of Maui.
This original painting is dedicated to Maui, and in loving memory of Lahaina town, which was burned down in the fires last August. 💔 I was reminiscing on the time I got to spend in beautiful Hawaii. And wanted to capture the nostalgic & magical essence of the full moon shining over the ocean at night. I am forever grateful for the islands that changed my life. It's what inspires a lot of my art to this day. 🌕💜
